Electric Cooperative Foundation College Scholarship
The 2021 Electric Cooperative Foundation scholarship application is live now! All applications must be received at the Alabama Rural Electric Association office by Friday, February 12, 2021.
Paper applications are available at the area high schools, by printing the Electric Cooperative Foundation College Scholarship Application, or by visiting the Cullman Electric Cooperative Main Office on Eva Road.
The Electric Cooperative Foundation, Inc, was created by the electric cooperatives of Alabama in 1997 in an effort to give back to the communities they serve by providing scholarships for post-secondary and vocational education to accredited institutions for qualifying high school seniors. Cullman Electric Cooperative College Scholarship
The 2021 Cullman Electric Cooperative College Scholarship application is LIVE NOW! The application deadline is 4:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021.
Helping today’s students achieve their academic goals is a great investment in the future. Cullman Electric Cooperative’s Scholarship Program seeks out those well-rounded students in our service area who are dedicated to making a difference in the world around them. Applications are available now at area high schools, online or at the Cullman Electric Cooperative Main Office on Eva Road. The scholarship is open to high school seniors who are Cullman EC member (or a child or legal ward of a Cullman EC member) who has been in good standing for at least 12 consecutive months at the time of the application deadline — 4 PM Friday, February 26, 2021. Students may download the PDF file or use the webform on this page to submit their application.
Only one scholarship can be awarded per family per year. The amount of scholarship is $1,000.
A student can receive the Cullman EC scholarship only one time. It is not renewable. The scholarship monies will be awarded prior to the upcoming fall semester or quarter with the student’s valid proof of enrollment as a full-time student at the accredited college, university, or technical school of his/her choice.
Note: The Valedictorian and Salutatorian are not eligible to participate in the cooperative scholarship program.
